Our first Easter in Colorado! Joshua was only 3 months old last year so we didn't get to do all of the fun easter traditions with him. This year we were so excited to be able to carry on some of our favorite things about Easter. Joshua was in such a great mood all day and grasped the egg hunt idea pretty quickly. I had a surreal moment when I was hiding the eggs in the backyard. I just stopped for a second and soaked in the moment. I am now a mother and I am now doing things for my son that my mom did for me. I get to experience watching a child grow from inside the womb. I have always dreamed of this life and never knew when it would happen or what it would be like. I have to say, its way better then I could have ever imagined. Watching Joshua's personality come out and seeing traits in him that Patrick and I have is so miraculous. He is 15 months old and learning so much everyday. I am so proud of him and how fast he can figure things out and understand what I am saying to him. This Easter was definitely one of my favorites.

Being out here in CO is amazing and beautiful! We are still adjusting to life out here and the new community around us. We really miss our family and friends from California especially on days like today. We are still finding what God's purpose is for us out here and being patient with where He has us.

We came out here with some expectations and God completely changed those. Patrick started working for a company called, Orkin Pest Control, as a Route Manager. He had a company truck and was making the income we needed to support our family. Just a few weeks before his 90 day probation period he got into a minor accident in the company truck and they have a very strict rule about their probation period. When Patrick got the news that he was going to have to be let go from the job, we immediately seeked God knowing that this was in his plan and that he has something better for us. It was only 48 hours of Patrick being unemployed before finding another job! He got hired into Management at Chick Fil A. He works down the street from the house so he only has a 7 minute commute to work on his bike. The fact that he doesn't need the car to get to work is a huge blessing! Also, he got the pay he asked for as well as the full time hours and benefits. We have no idea where God is taking us but, we know that if we continue to pray and seek him, he will show us the way.

Well, it's been a long day and I am ready to cozy up and lay down.

Good Night.
